Optimisation of heating costs for the next generation
A look on the websites of diverse energy providers shows: many suppliers of electricity are gathering their first experiences with intelligent grids. All participants of the energy system are connected with each other within these grids. The transfer of energy is thus not a one-way process any more: energy purchasers can for example become producers themselves, when they convey their excess electricity back to the grid. The top goal is to enhance the balance between supply and demand and to make the grid more stable and efficient.
A win-win situation
What's even better, all parties will profit from this: the electric power plant operators thanks to their improved ability to plan the work, grid operators thanks to lower transfer losses, electricity retailers thanks to better purchase prices, and end-users, pursuant to all this, thanks to better tariffs. A great advantage to the environment: it profits through the optimum use of renewable energy.
