NDX®

NDX®

Heat source ground

Thanks to the NDX technology® by NEURA it is possible to transfer energy from the ground directly to the heat pump. Thanks to your NEURA heat pump you can smile despite increasing prices of fuel oil, gas and solid fuels.

And that is because you are heating your house economically and in an environmentally friendly way by using free energy from the environment.

Home-made energy, free of charge

Using your plot of land you will become your own energy provider using the NEURA NDX® ground source heat pump. Thanks to the sun, the rain and geothermal energy your garden will always be 'charged' just like an energy storage unit. Even at very low outside temperatures you will enjoy a constantly available heat source.

The perfect combination

Our optimally conducting copper absorbers laid out in the garden are a guarantee of top operational safety. It is in these absorbers, which are connected directly to the NEURA NDX® ground source heat pump, where the working medium circulates. You have no limitations in terms of garden design - everything is possible excluding plants with deep-reaching roots.

Plug&Heat® – Install & heat

The NEURA NDX ground heat pump is filled at the factory with a cooling medium and tested. It only needs to be connected to the heating system at hour side. There is no need for the usual personnel evacuation, filling and soldering work at the site.

Why it makes your life more comfortable:

  • high efficiency, high capacity even during low temperatures
  • requires only a small area for placement (less than in the case of brine-based systems)
  • Plug & Heat: the simplest installation; ready-to-work, tested delivery straight from the factory
  • no limitations on garden design (excluding deep-rooted plants)
  • thanks to Web Dialog you can access your thermal heat pump any time from anywhere in the world

1

Ground collector

The cooling medium is pumped directly through the collector piping, absorbing the energy of the ground and thus turning into vapour.
2

NDX® ground thermal heat pump

The cooling medium is compressed and thus 'pumped' up to a higher temperature level. The warmth collected in the cooling medium is transferred to the heating system water in the condenser.
3

House connection

The insulated house connectors are the way between the heat pump and the technical room. The hot heating water flows in the pipes.
4

TRS Room adjustment unit

The room adjustment unit reports the heat requirements to the heat pump
5

Heating circuit distribution unit

The individual heating circuits are arranged in such a way so that each room may reach the temperature required by the operator.
6

Floor heating

The heat taken from the ground is dispersed through the floor to the individual rooms.
7

Wall heating

The warmth taken from the ground may also be easily utilised through wall heating.

LW 640 hot water thermal heat pump

Thanks to the LW640 you have at your disposal a small compact thermal heat pump for the purpose of warming your usable water. The heat pump is installed directly on the boiler.

Your clear advantages:

  • World class efficiency
  • No losses generated by second heat exchanger
  • Low space requirement

Optimised performance

A unique property of NEURA thermal heat pumps is the self-learning ability of heat requirements, the PCS (Power Control System) technology. It optimises the performance of the heat pump to the actually required warmth level.

Fully automatic adjustment

Thanks to adjustment of the compressor rotation speed, the heating performance of the thermal heat pump is adapted to the outside temperature. Thus, thanks to the PCS, the compressor is spared by using a lower rotation speed, and the lifetime of your NEURA heat pump is increased.

Why does this make your life easier:

  • Increased operational safety due to low component numbers
  • Stepless electric rotation speed adjustment (PCS technology)
  • Optimum relation between outside temperature and thermal heat pump

**) Environmental standard EN 14511

What does the COP value or the performance coefficient tell us?

COP stands for Coefficient of Performance. A COP informs of the effectiveness of a thermal heat pump. The higher the COP, the more energy may be produced from 1 kW of electric power. The COP is sometimes called the performance coefficient.

Example: In the case of a COP of 5 one can get 5 kW of heating power from 1 kW of electric power used.

How much collector area do I need?

All NEURA thermal heat pumps are created exactly according to your individual needs. The required collector area is thus calculated by a NEURA employee according to your requirements. In order to provide you with a ballpark figure: The collector area should be more or less double that of the area to be heated.

Do I need a technical room for the thermal heat pump?

Thermal heat pumps working on propane (R 290) have to be installed outside. Heat pumps using the medium R 410 A may be installed either inside or outside. You will receive all the necessary advice from a NEURA employee.

What are the available modes of operation?

Monovalent: The thermal heat pump is planned so that it can cover the entire heating requirements of the house.

Bivalent, alternative: The thermal heat pump operates to a specific outside temperature, and afterwards switches off. The required remaining heat is then generated from an additional source (electric heating element, wood-burning boiler, etc.)

Bivalent, parallel: The thermal heat pump operates to a specific outside temperature alone, and afterwards switches an additional heat source on, in order to cover the entire requirements of the house or building.
